Manzanillo

For this (long) weekend we decided to take a trip to the beach in Manzanillo. When we arrived to the hotel, the first thing we did was change clothes and hit the pool

On Saturday and Sunday, we went down to the beach. It was my first time in the ocean, so we made sure to have pictures of my first steps in the water. By the way, there were lots of cool fish in the water, so we spent the whole day playing with the fish and looking for the coolest ones. I saw a blow fish, and also other kinds but I just don't know their names.

After playing in the beach for hours, we would go back to the apartment to eat... and I don't really remember what happened next.

Today, I went to my friend's birthday party, well, actually, it was my friend's sister's birthday party, and there were bouncy castles, and a trampoline, and potato chips, and a girl painted my face, and there were cupcakes, and I hit a pinata really good, and we raced, and I got a whistle to take home, and I picked up candy from the pinata, and I ate some lollipop, but then the cake came out so I put down the lollipop, and now I wonder where the lollipop is, but then we limboed and walked around the chairs when the music played but then when the music stopped we all had to sit down but it was silly because the girl took away a chair and there weren't enough, and there were slides, and I took my shoes off for the bouncy castle, and it rained a little bit, and I ate cotton candy when I got there, and there was chocolate in my take-home bag, and after I played I drank juice and remembered to say "thankyougracias" and there were two kinds of Jell-0: Red and Green.

Los Guachimontones

For the last few day I haven't been feeling great. I had fever and felt weak. So, after spending 4 days at home, doing really nothing, but watchig cartoons while cuddling on the couch with Mami, we decided that on Sunday, we needed to do something interesting. ROAD TRIP!!!

As you can see, Guachimontones are pyramids. They are not very big, but the interesting part about them is that they are circular. They were pretty cool. We had a great day. Just look at the pictures.

DIA DE REYES

Hoy es el Dia de Reyes, y como era una ocasion especial, me puse mi vestido mas nuevo y fui a visitar a Daddy a su trabajo. Despues de almorzar con el, Mami y yo fuimos a McDonald's para jugar en el parque que hay dentro y comer helado.



Despues, cuando Daddy llego a casa, cortamos el roscon de Reyes y ...

...nos lo comimos. Que rico. Pero no tan rico como el de Espana. :(

NEW YEAR'S PARTY

To celebrate the New Year, and also to watch some football games, we had a party in our house. A lot of people came, kids and adults. We had a very good time.

I played with the other kids.


I sang with Daddy.

Today we went to Ajijic. Ajijic is a little town on the shore of Lake Chapala. It's a very nice place that many people have chosen as a place to retire. It is just beautiful in that town.

Today, the whole family went to Tequila. Do you know what they make in that town? I don't know either because Mommy and Daddy didn't let me try the juice that the nice people were giving us. But everybody seemed to like it.

Here we are in front of the crow of the "Jose Cuervo" distillery. For those who don't know and are wondering why is there a crow in the "Jose Cuervo" distillery, ...well, 'cuervo' means 'crow'. So there it is. You saw a little bit of Mexico and you got your Spanish lesson for the day.
