Days 1025 & 10, 27 June, 2009

This morning, Mami, Daddy, Lila and I got ready to go on a family trip.


First, we went shopping.

Then, we went to the park. Daddy and I tried everything. We played on the slide, the swings... everything.

And while I was doing all that, my little sister Lila just slept.

After the park, we went to the carousel, to ride the horses (and also other animals).

And while we were riding in the carousel (all 5 times), Lila slept.

Then we went home. And we put on our swim suits and got into the swimming pool and played and played. It was so much fun.

And while we did that, Lila slept.

Today, Grandpa, Daddy and I went shopping, and guess what we bought.
A pool!!!
I'm so excited. Now I can swim every day.

Today we went to the hospital to visit my little sister again. I love her so much. I want to hold her all the time.

Look! She likes me too.

Happy Birthday!

This is my sister, Lila. She is my sister and she is a baby. She cries sometimes and she likes me to hold her and she wants me to sing Twinkle Twinkle to her because then she isn't sad. She was in Mommy's belly but now she is out and she is going to live with us.

Lila was born on June 18th weighing 7 lbs 15 oz (3.604 Kg) and she measured 18 in (46 cm.)

Day 997, 30 May, 2009

Today the whole family got ready to go to a wedding. The girls wore dresses and the boys wore pants. I like dresses better, so I don't understand why the boys didn't wear dresses like the girls did. I asked Grandpa and he said he didn't look good in a dress, but I disagree. Everybody looks good in dresses. I decided to wear the dress that my Tita gave me for Christmas. And off we went to the wedding.

After this, we went to the party, where I played and danced until 10:30, which, of course, is way past my bed time, but for some reason Daddy and Mami let me stay up.
It was a really fun day.

Rebuscando en el garaje de Gradma, encontre unos cuantos juguetes que eran de Daddy cuando el era pequeno como yo. Juguetes bastante interesantes.



Ya se que el caballito parece un poco pequeno para mi, pero es que a mi me gusta...

Mirame, mirame...conduzco el tractor como Grandpa y como el Abuelo. :D

As spring is arriving (finally) to Iowa, we went outside to do some landscaping.
First, I mowed the lawn with Grandpa.



After that, we got ready to do some planting. Aunt L. and Grandma had bought some flowers that needed to be planted in bigger pots. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.

Today, Grandpa decided to take me around the farms and show me some stuff.

On Saturday, Grandma, Mami, Aunt L., Aunt E. and I got all ready and beautiful and went to the bridal shower of a cousin of mine. It was so much fun. The only bad part about it was that it was somebody else opening the presents instead of me.

Today, we went to visit some relatives. R. and I played piano to entertain everybody. I love playing piano.
