Day 841, 25 December, 2008

Christmas' Day

I woke up at 8:30 in the morning, which is really late for my taste. I don't know what happened to me. When I came down the stairs, guess what I saw. Santa had come and left lots and lots of gifts for me and for my family. But especially for me. :)

I got a tricycle.

Daddy showed me how to ride it.

I also got a barbie, reading books, coloring books, colors, clothes, earrings, and I bet I'm forgetting something because there were lots of things.

And a hat.

Merry Christmas everybody!!!

Day 828, 12 December, 2008

Posada of the street

Posada is a Christmas tradition in Mexico. It signifies the moment when Joseph and Mary were asking for a place to stay just before Jesus was born. Friends and family get together and celebrate Christmas.

First, we ate a little bit.

Then, we sang a Christmas song.

After the song, we hit and hit the pinata until a lot of candy came out of it.

Then, we ate the candy that came out of the pinata.

Look how much candy I got. I think I like Mexico. :)

Day 817, 1 December, 2008

Today, for the first time in history, I let my mother touch my hair.

She made two pigtails (I think that's the only thing she could do with my short hair), and I think they turn out pretty good. I kind of like them. I may ask her to make them again, maybe even every morning.
Depending on my mood, of course!!!
