Festival de la Primavera

Today, there was a party in school to celebrate the arrival of spring. Every kid dressed up. I was a sun and then I danced for a lot of people. I have to say, modesty aside, that I was one of the best dancers up there. Just check these pictures out and tell me what you think.

More Guachimontones

Today we went to see the Guachimontones again. This time, Daddy decided that he wanted to go even higher to look at the view, so all THREE of us climbed up a hill to look at the view.

This is Mami and I completely exhausted after the climbing.

After all the walking and climbing we were starving, so we went to a restaurant nearby. There is a lake close to the Guachimontones, and this restaurant in particular was right there. So, I took off my shoes and socks, and finally also my pants and played in the water for a while. By the way, there were fish in the water. So cool.

Every last Friday of the month, we don't have classes at school. For this month, some mothers got together and decided to take us to the Children's Museum. It was lots of fun.

First, I played in the farm.

After that, I was a doctor for a while.

Then, I jumped a little bit in this soft park.

Later, I did some fishing.

Days 863-866, 16-19 January, 2009

Manzanillo

For this (long) weekend we decided to take a trip to the beach in Manzanillo. When we arrived to the hotel, the first thing we did was change clothes and hit the pool

On Saturday and Sunday, we went down to the beach. It was my first time in the ocean, so we made sure to have pictures of my first steps in the water. By the way, there were lots of cool fish in the water, so we spent the whole day playing with the fish and looking for the coolest ones. I saw a blow fish, and also other kinds but I just don't know their names.

After playing in the beach for hours, we would go back to the apartment to eat... and I don't really remember what happened next.

Today, I went to my friend's birthday party, well, actually, it was my friend's sister's birthday party, and there were bouncy castles, and a trampoline, and potato chips, and a girl painted my face, and there were cupcakes, and I hit a pinata really good, and we raced, and I got a whistle to take home, and I picked up candy from the pinata, and I ate some lollipop, but then the cake came out so I put down the lollipop, and now I wonder where the lollipop is, but then we limboed and walked around the chairs when the music played but then when the music stopped we all had to sit down but it was silly because the girl took away a chair and there weren't enough, and there were slides, and I took my shoes off for the bouncy castle, and it rained a little bit, and I ate cotton candy when I got there, and there was chocolate in my take-home bag, and after I played I drank juice and remembered to say "thankyougracias" and there were two kinds of Jell-0: Red and Green.

Los Guachimontones

For the last few day I haven't been feeling great. I had fever and felt weak. So, after spending 4 days at home, doing really nothing, but watchig cartoons while cuddling on the couch with Mami, we decided that on Sunday, we needed to do something interesting. ROAD TRIP!!!

As you can see, Guachimontones are pyramids. They are not very big, but the interesting part about them is that they are circular. They were pretty cool. We had a great day. Just look at the pictures.
